Restaurants share available food
Participating restaurants will post surplus items, quantities, handling details and pickup windows through a secure dashboard.
Food rescue. Community first.
Second Seating is a nonprofit food-rescue initiative being developed to connect surplus food from restaurants with the needs of community food pantries through vetted volunteer drivers.
We are building and validating the platform. You can now create an account and access your role-specific workspace. Organization verification and live food coordination are still being developed.

Participating restaurants will post surplus items, quantities, handling details and pickup windows through a secure dashboard.
02
Partner pantries will describe what they need and explicitly accept offers they are equipped to receive.
03
Vetted volunteers will claim available pickups and deliver to partner organizations with an accountable handoff.
Later phases may support private, agency-mediated requests from people experiencing food insecurity and separately licensed enterprise APIs. Neither feature is currently available, and no commercial partnership is implied.
